Dinger the Dinosaur and the Dumb Bunnies

We just got home from the Rockies vs. the Cubs. What is wrong with this picture? I go there and everyone is wearing the wrong colors. Dumb bunnies. They must not have gotten the memo as mommy says. If I have to be stuffed like a sausage into a black/silver/purple suit and be called a boy, I think everyone else should too.

I was very bad at the game. I screamed and yelled until the top of the third and Mommy took me nurse and to meet Dinger. Cousin Bailey went too. Dinger is big and furry and he gave me a high five. Mommy taught me to high five a long time ago so I am glad he picked a game I know. We got our picture taken and he signed a baseball card for my scrapbook. I wish we could have just stayed with Dinger because he was cool. But no! We had to go back to the game and all of the dumb bunnies were screaming when the Cubs did something good. It made me very mad so I yelled at them back. I agree with Mommy. If you live in Colorado, cheer for the gosh darned Rockies already.

Cousin Bailey was bad too. Mommy thinks we planned it. She was trying to stick peanut shells down the people shirts in front of us and trying to steal their umbrella. Please don’t tell her mom though. It is our secret. She gave me part of her chocolate chip cookie and I shared my fruit puffs. We left at the bottom of the 5th and Bailey left at the top of the 7th. The Rockies lost 10-2. I am glad we left. I wish those adults would have behaved and cheered for the right team and I wouldn’t have had to throw a fit. Here is my picture with Dinger and Bailey. Mommy is on there too but she would like y’all to ignore her.

Wet 4 times in one day

Today has been strange.  It started off kind of great.  I went for a walk and went swimming with Mommy and Daddy. This is one of my favorite things to do.  There are some fascinating boys at the pool everyday.  They make tons of noise and do things like throw pool chairs into the water and try to impress the big girls.  Mommy thinks they are annoying but I think it is neat.  I floated around and kicked my feet for the joy of all of the old ladies.  They always say how cute my Bug suit is and make squealy noises when they see me.

When we got home I puked milk chunks on Mommy and myself so she made me take a shower with her.  I squirmed around a lot and made it quite “challenging” for Momma to clean me.  I say I got her back for dunking me at the pool.

After the shower we went for a walk to the park by Taylor’s house. Momma pushed me on the swing and made dumb faces that cracked me up.  Swinging can be so fun.  Mostly I laugh at Daddy because he makes silly noises.  I love him.  When I went on the slide I got stuck cuz my butt was wet from sitting in my stroller after the pool.   I think it could be fun to slide but I guess I have to wait until I have a dry butt.  We left the park and went to get some dinner at the Lighthouse Cafe because Mommy and Daddy were half starved.  Their dinner doesn’t come on tap like mine.  I usually like it a lot at the Lighthouse.  The owner thinks I am cute and is very nice to me.  She says I look like a doll in my bumbo.

Mommy asked the lady what the soup of the day was and she got freaked out and dumped a whole glass of tea and a whole glass of water on me while I was in the stroller.  I didn’t even cry.  People were amazed that I didn’t cry.  A little boy told Momma “your baby got wet”  I say “DUH, “  and I say, “What is there to cry about?  It is just like the pool, isn’t it?”  The waitress ran away and cried her eyes out.  Mommy felt sorry for me so she let me chew on her straw.  She said to Daddy “it is OK, she can’t drink from it.”  Little did she know.  I was drinking her diet Pepsi.  She freaked out.  “How can a 6 month old baby drink from a straw?”  HAHA.  I love to freak out Momma.  She doesn’t believe what I can do.  Daddy gave the waitress a $20 tip because she was brave and came back to wait on us.  He is a nice Daddy.

On the way home it was dark and we were walking along where the sprinklers are.  Mommy said, “may as well get wet. it is the theme of the day.”  It was a fun day and kind of funny too.
